Allison Ramsey Architects, Inc.

Mr. Allison is the founding partner of Allison Ramsey Architects. He founded the Habitat for Humanity low–cost housing program in Zambia, Africa and has practiced architecture in Oslo, Norway. He has considerable experience working in all phases of urban planning and architectural design for commercial, industrial, warehouse, religious, medical, and both multi–family and single–family residential projects. Allison Ramsey Architects has been instrumental in providing architecture for some of the leading New Urbanist developments, including I'On, Newpoint, Habersham, WaterSound, WaterColor and East Beach. He was the Town Architect for Newpoint, Chair of the City of Beaufort Historic Review Board and the Low Country Habitat for Humanity. He is an active participant in the Council for the New Urbanism, and a member of the American Institute of Architects. Mr. Allison continues to be an active partner in the Asheville area Habitat for Humanity and occasionally leads work camps to build houses in Zambia.
