Shevlin

Architect: David LiaBraaten
DesignHaus

Total Sq. Ft.: 2331  Bedrooms: 2  Baths: 2.0

The Shevlin is a modern home in both its style and in its energy performance, as it uses the latest materials and technology to exceed today's standards for an energy–efficient home. Its passive solar design incorporates clerestories, skylights, solar panels, and efficient use of materials to make it qualify as an "Oregon High Performance Home", and be certified as an "Earth Advantage Home". The result is a unique, contemporary house with clean lines and abundant glass, with the added bonus of using nearly half the energy as the same home built to code standards.

Great Rear Views

Architect: John Sutton, Architect
John Sutton

Total Sq. Ft.: 3292  Bedrooms: 2  Baths: 3.5

All of the living spaces in this lovely contemporary home, along with the master bedroom, enjoy fantastic views to the rear! A covered patio spans almost the entire rear of the house, and is accessed from either the kitchen/nook area or the master bedroom. The great room has an octagonal shape – a large square with clipped off corners – with a matching coffered ceiling. Two corners contain a media center and a built–in cabinet with shelving above it, while the other two are filled with windows that expand the view. There are two bedrooms on the main level – the master on one side and bedroom 2 on the other – and upstairs there's another bedroom suite as well as a large play room with a covered balcony.

Grassy Knoll

Architect: Jon Rentfrow
Rentfrow Residential Design

Total Sq. Ft.: 3303  Bedrooms: 5  Baths: 4.0

This four–bedroom home was originally designed to sit atop a grassy knoll, providing a partially day lit basement. It features a study that can be used instead as a guest room or a fifth bedroom, vaulted ceilings in the main living spaces, and a lower recreation room with a bedroom and office, if you build the basement level.
