Our inventory of garage plans and garage apartment plans continues to grow. Like all of our plans, our garage blueprints are quite detailed, and contain a great deal of information. We offer garage designs for both 2 car and 3 car garages, with or without apartments, offices or lofts above. Our regular garage floor plans and our apartment garage plans are combined in this section of our website.
Garage Plans:
Common characteristics of garage designs & garage apartment designs:
- Designed in as many styles as there are styles of homes
- Typically built over a slab foundation
- Can be attached to (directly or via a breezeway), or detached from, the house
- Often include a shop or storage space on the main level
- Usually have dormers if the upper level is designed to be used for anything but storage
- Functional space above the parking level can be designed for a long list of possible uses
- If built after the house was constructed, employs the same exterior materials and finishes as the house
