This low profile one story home has a simple A–frame roof line that reaches for the ground. The original homeowners selected vertical siding and cultured stone for the exterior along with a metal roof. Numerous windows provide views to the front, rear, and one side.

Coming in from the entry foyer, an open stairwell to an optional basement is to the right, and the open living space is straight ahead. A corner fireplace on a raised stone hearth warms the open living areas, which sit beneath a ceiling that vaults to 11'6" in the center. The kitchen has a center island with a stove on top and a built–in bookcase facing the living room. Casement windows above the kitchen counter and sinks open up to a screened porch at the rear of the house, which is accessed by a glazed door off the dining area.

A small vestibule off the living room provides access to the master suite. One door opens to the master bedroom, another to the master bath, and yet another to a sitting room/office. Two walls in the bedroom are filled with windows facing the rear and side views. The master bath has a separate toilet room, and is large enough to fit both a tub beneath windows facing the front of the house and a shower. On the other side of the house, a short hall between the stairwell and the kitchen pantry leads to two bedrooms that share a full bath, a laundry room, and a two–car garage.

The majority of the partial basement was left unfinished. The remainder has a large multi–purpose space with a workbench and utility sink, an equipment room, and a half bath.
