Description

This home was originally built on a sloped lot, and takes advantage of the site conditions by having a partial daylight basement with doors to the backyard. Plenty of glazing and skylights fill the home with light throughout the day.

After coming into the entry foyer, the open living/dining room is straight ahead. A large stone hearth is located on one side of the living room. The shared fireplace is located between the living room and master bedroom, so that both spaces can enjoy its warmth. Large windows in the living room create views to the exterior deck, and skylights grace the sloped ceiling. On the other side of the living room are a screened porch, a dining nook, and a kitchen. The efficient kitchen has a vaulted ceiling, and has a door connecting it to the laundry room. To the left of the entry is a small hallway leading to a master suite, a guest bedroom, and a full bath. The master suite has a walk–in closet, which connects to the master bath.

Upstairs is an open loft with a half bath. The ceiling slopes to a clerestory window, which fills the space with sunlight. The partial basement on the lower level has a large recreation room with a fireplace, a full bath, a laundry room with storage, and a mechanical room.

Foundation Info
This house was originally designed to have a basement foundation. However, if you prefer a crawlspace or a slab foundation, these are fairly simple and inexpensive changes that your builder can often make for you. If the basement design is not displayed in the Floor Plans, it's because it is unfinished.
