Description
This 2–story 4–bedroom home has a classic A–frame roof, with five dormers both front and rear to increase living space on the upper floor as well as to provide extra natural light and views. Its beauty comes from its clean lines and geometry.
The front porch is covered by the bedroom above it, which is supported by two wood posts set on stone pillars. After entering the house, there is a stairwell to the right leading to the upper floor, and a coat closet to the left. Straight ahead is the living room, which is open to the dining area and the kitchen. A fireplace in the living room faces all three open spaces, and abundant windows along the rear wall bring in sunlight and views. A door between the living and dining areas leads to a covered rear porch. Next to the kitchen, and also accessible from the entryway, are a pantry, a laundry room, a half bath, and a stairwell to the unfinished basement and mechanical room. A mudroom next to the laundry leads to the side yard and a two–car garage.
The master bedroom is located on the other side of the house for privacy. The bedroom has lots of windows for light and views, and a huge walk–in closet next to a full bath.
On the upper floor there are three more bedrooms, a full bath, and a large office/guest room. Two of the bedrooms and the office have dormers that create small nooks for extra space, and bring in sunlight, and bedroom 4 has a ceiling that vaults from 8' to nearly 13'.
