Description
This compact and charming three–bedroom house features many craftsman–like details. The exterior is composed of cedar shingles and trim pieces, wood brackets at the roof, exposed roof rafters, and abundant windows on all four sides of the house.
After you enter the foyer, there's a coat closet just to your left, along with a door to a utility/laundry room. As you enter the main living space, you pass a full bath that doubles as a guest powder room, and the door to bedroom 1. This room has windows on two walls, with views to the front and side of the house. After passing the stairs to the upper level you enter the open living area. The living room, dining space, and kitchen are wrapped with windows for views in three directions. A large fireplace in the living room faces all three spaces. Double glazed doors off the kitchen/dining area open to the back yard.
At the top of the stairs there's a large sitting area that's also wrapped with windows, and there's a charming built–in window seat beneath two of them. Both bedrooms also enjoy lots of light and views, and they share a full bath next to the sitting area.
Foundation Info
This house was originally designed to have a crawlspace foundation. However, if you prefer a basement or slab foundation, these are fairly simple and inexpensive changes that your builder can often make for you.
