Description
The vertical wood siding of this home is accented by timber elements and wood bracket details. Abundant glazing brings in plenty of sunlight to the interior spaces, and the use of stucco at the basement level helps to make it more economical to build.
This home was originally built on a sloped lot, so the entry is at mid–level, between the main and basement floors. After entering through the entry foyer, you go upstairs to the main floor. You enter a dining space, which is open to the kitchen. Two walls of windows line the kitchen, bringing in sunlight and views to the outdoor deck. An island sits in the middle of the kitchen, and has a raised bar for eating. To the right is a great room, which has a fireplace in one corner, and bays of windows that go up to the vaulted ceiling. A door from the great room leads to the outdoor deck. To the left of the dining area are a bedroom, a full bath, and a laundry room that connects to the garage. There is also a master bedroom suite, which has sliding glass doors that lead to the backyard deck. The master bathroom is spacious, and features a shower and a separate light–filled space for the tub.
From the entry there is a stairwell to the basement level. The partially finished basement has a third bedroom, a full bath, and a family room with a fireplace. There is also access to the unfinished basement, which may be used for mechanical equipment, or for storage.
From the main level, there is a stairwell to a loft space, which is open to the dining room and great room below. The loft also has access to the attic for extra storage space.
Foundation Info
This house was originally designed to have a basement foundation. However, if you prefer a crawlspace or a slab foundation, these are fairly simple and inexpensive changes that your builder can often make for you. If the basement design is not displayed in the Floor Plans, it's because it is unfinished.
