Description

This home was originally designed for a narrow lot in an urban setting, with a width of just 27'. An underground lower level keeps the overall house height lower, and the lower roof heights in the front and back make the home more intimate upon entering. The plans come with drawings for a detached two–car garage as well.

The covered front porch is framed with three columns, and steps back to give more privacy. After entering the foyer, a stairwell is to the right, and a pair of doors to a study is to the left. Beyond the foyer is an open living space, with a spacious kitchen to the left, and a dining room and living room to the right. A center island with counter seating separates the kitchen from the dining room, which has a 2' deep bay window for additional space. The family room has a gas fireplace at the end of the room, and a door to the screened porch beyond on either side of it. Next to the kitchen are a walk–in pantry, a half bath, a casual foyer room/mudroom, and a rear entry porch, which also has a door to the screened porch.

Upstairs there are two bedrooms with a shared full bath, and a master bedroom suite. A pair of doors leads to the master bedroom, which has a walk–in closet and a bath with both a shower and a tub.

The basement level has window wells along the two sides to bring in natural daylight to the main rooms. A family room is located in the center, and has doors to an exercise room, a third bedroom, a full bath, and a laundry room with access to a storage room and a utility room.

Foundation Info
This house was originally designed to have a basement foundation. However, if you prefer a crawlspace or a slab foundation, these are fairly simple and inexpensive changes that your builder can often make for you. If the basement design is not displayed in the Floor Plans, it's because it is unfinished.
