Decorative wood details, exterior wood shutters, and covered porches in the front and rear make for a charming country house, which would fit in nicely in either a suburban or more rural setting.

The covered front entry porch is set back on both sides of the house, providing more space to enjoy the porch, as well as more privacy. In the foyer space there is a central stairwell, a formal dining room to the right, and an office/guest bedroom to the left. The great room straight ahead has a fireplace in one corner, and bay windows that create a breakfast nook. A door from the great room leads to a covered porch in the rear, creating outdoor space to dine or just relax. Another option, as shown on the Floor Plan page, is to remove the office/guest room, and expand the great room to accommodate a sitting area. A breakfast bar separates the great room from the kitchen, which has French doors for easy access to the dining room. From the kitchen, a small hall with a coat closet leads to a powder room, a laundry room, a storage room, and a two–car garage. From the great room, a door leads to a master bedroom suite, which has a 10' raised ceiling. The master bath features a walk–in closet, a private toilet room, a Jacuzzi tub, and a separate shower.

On the upper floor there are two more bedrooms, and a shared full bath. There is also an open recreation room with a well–lit sitting nook, which has vaulted ceilings and large windows for natural light.
