This plan has the same floor layout as the original Southern Exposure, but most of the rooms are slightly larger, resulting in a total square footage of 3,005. This southern style home features a wrap–around porch at the front and a covered porch at the rear, which create a quaint exterior aesthetic, as well as additional living spaces. Abundant windows finish off the exterior, and bring in plenty of natural sunlight to the interior rooms.

After coming off the covered porch, you enter a foyer space with a central staircase and a coat closet. To the left is a bedroom, which may be used as an office, and to the right is the formal dining room. Straight ahead is the great room, with a fireplace and a breakfast nook. Windows look out to the covered porch at the rear, and a door from the great room leads to the porch space. The great room is open to the kitchen, which has an extended counter for eating, and French doors to the dining room. From the kitchen, a small hall leads to a coat closet, a laundry room with a utility sink, a powder room, and a two–car garage with a shop/storage area. From the great room, a door leads to the master bedroom suite, which has a 10' tray ceiling, and doors that lead to both the front and rear porches. The master bath has a private toilet room, a Jacuzzi tub, a separate shower, and a walk–in closet.

On the upper floor, the stair landing opens into a vaulted room with a nook for reading, and a larger open recreation room. A door from this room leads to an unfinished bonus room, which has access to a storage space under the sloped roof. Three more bedrooms with a shared full bath are located on this floor.

The master bedroom is moved to the upper floor in this version, and one of the upper bedrooms is eliminated. There is no extra charge for this version.
