Description
This traditional bungalow has a compact footprint, making it versatile for a variety of sites. It has fairly simple detailing, but the window sizes, the roof design, and the wood siding are reminiscent of the Prairie style.
The wide covered entry porch invites you into the home, and brings you into a foyer with a coat closet and a central stairwell. The foyer continues to a small vestibule, with a closet and a powder room to the right, and a mudroom to the left. The mudroom has another coat closet and leads to a two–car garage, and to the kitchen. From the vestibule, an open living room is located straight ahead. A fireplace anchors one end of the room, and an open dining room is at the other end. An extended counter for eating separates the dining room from the kitchen, and sliding glass doors from the dining room open to a rear deck.
Upstairs, a laundry room is conveniently located right off of the stairwell, along with a full bath, two bedrooms, and a master bedroom suite. The master bedroom has a large walk–in closet, a master bath with both a shower and a tub, and an additional coat closet.
If you choose to build the basement, the plan includes a family room, a full bath, a bedroom, and a storage/utility room.
Foundation Info
This house was originally designed to have a basement foundation. However, if you prefer a crawlspace or a slab foundation, these are fairly simple and inexpensive changes that your builder can often make for you. If the basement design is not displayed in the Floor Plans, it's because it is unfinished.
