Description
This handsome log home has an A–frame roof that tapers at the two gable ends, providing ample space to install solar panels if desired. A generous–sized covered deck wraps around the entire house, providing comfortable outdoor living and lounging space.
A door from the wraparound deck is located on each of the four exterior walls, providing flexibility in entering and leaving the house. If you enter the home from the door at the living room, you find yourself in an open living space with a vaulted ceiling above. Large picture windows above the door line reach the sloped ceiling above, bringing in abundant sunlight and views to the outdoors. The living area is open to the dining area and the kitchen, and an optional wood stove is located in one corner. As you walk past the kitchen, which includes a convenient center island, a hallway leads to the master bedroom and bath. The bathroom is spacious, and accommodates a stacking washer/dryer in a closet. The ceilings are 8'6" high, and the exposed ceiling logs are about 8' above the floor.
The upper landing opens up to a loft that has views to the living and dining areas below. There are two additional bedrooms on this floor that sit under the slope of the log roof. Large windows span the wall height of the two bedrooms, from the floor to the sloping ceiling.
Foundation Info
This house was originally designed to have a basement foundation. However, if you prefer a crawlspace or a slab foundation, these are fairly simple and inexpensive changes that your builder can often make for you. If the basement design is not displayed in the Floor Plans, it's because it is unfinished.
