Description
This Craftsman style home features a generous covered front porch that spans the width of the home, and long shed dormers on both sides of the upper level. The kitchen has the signature arts and crafts breakfast nook, with peek–a–boo windows that look out to the living room and the foyer.
After entering the home from the covered front porch, you find yourself in a foyer with a convenient coat closet to your right, and a stairway straight ahead that has a window that peeks into the breakfast nook in the kitchen. Upon entering the living room, you face a centrally located fireplace hearth that is flanked by windows with built–ins beneath them. A large opening leads to the dining room, which is open to the kitchen. A pair of doors from the dining room opens into a den that extends past the perimeter of the rest of the house. This room has windows on three walls that provide a 180–degree view, and it even has windows looking back into the house, allowing more natural light into the dining room, and proving a visual connection between it and the kitchen.
The gourmet kitchen has a center island with a cooktop and oven, which frees up a lot of counter space, and allows the person who is cooking an opportunity to have communication with others while they work. From the kitchen, a rear hallway leads to the master suite, a powder room, and a mudroom with a coat closet. The master bedroom has two windows looking out to the side, a spacious walk–in closet, and a large master bath. The brightly lit master bath has windows looking out to the rear, and a side window located over the tub. It features a private toilet room, two separate vanity sinks, a tub, and a separate shower.
The upstairs landing opens up to a good–sized playroom/reading space with lots of windows on one side to let sunlight in. Three doors radiating off the playroom lead to a conveniently located laundry room and to three bedrooms. All three bedrooms on this level share a full bath.
Foundation Info
This house was originally designed to have a crawlspace foundation. However, if you prefer a basement or slab foundation, these are fairly simple and inexpensive changes that your builder can often make for you.
