The simple lines of the front of this house are reminiscent of the Ranch style. The details and finishes combine to create a very handsome exterior, and this look and feel extends through the interior as well. If you choose to build the basement level, it includes three additional bedrooms, a recreation room, and a home theater.

After coming off the gracious front porch – where there is plenty of room for outdoor furniture – you come into a foyer space with double doors to a library on your right, open views to a stairwell straight ahead, and a formal dining room framed with wood columns on your left. Beyond the stairway is a spacious great room with a vaulted ceiling that has exposed box beams, giving the room some drama along with a sense of warmth. The room protrudes into the covered deck at the rear of the house, and its walls of glass windows extend to the vaulted ceiling, which – along with a glazed door – bring in an abundance natural light and outdoor views. A two–sided fireplace warms the room during cooler weather, as well as the breakfast area that is located on the other side.

From the great room, a pair of doors open into the master suite, which has sliding glass doors to the outdoor deck for private access. The room has a few different ceiling heights, with one portion that would make an ideal plant shelf. A two–sided fireplace is located between the room and the master bath, bringing warmth to both rooms. The master bath features a corner tub surrounded by windows, a separate shower, a private toilet room, two vanity sinks, and access to a large walk–in closet.

A large opening connects the great room to the kitchen, which features a large center island and plenty of counter space. A light–filled breakfast area has sliding glass doors to the covered deck at the rear. A centrally located powder room is located next to the kitchen, as is a desk nook that can be closed off with sliding doors. From the kitchen, a hallway leads past a walk–in pantry to a mudroom that accesses a laundry room, a three–car garage, and a bedroom suite. The bedroom has its own private full bath, and a door that opens onto a private outdoor deck.

If you build the basement level, there is a recreation room with a fireplace, a small wet bar, and a nook for a desk. A hallway at the right leads to two bedrooms, a full bath, a sauna, and a large storage room. The hallway at the left leads to a home theater room, a bedroom suite that has its own private full bath and walk–in closet, and abundant room for storage.

Foundation Info
This house was originally designed to have a basement foundation. However, if you prefer a crawlspace or a slab foundation, these are fairly simple and inexpensive changes that your builder can often make for you. If the basement design is not displayed in the Floor Plans, it's because it is unfinished.

Electronic Format
These plans were drawn using a well–known and highly respected architectural design software program called SoftPlan (version 14). This software can export the same files in .dwg format, so they can also be modified by anyone who uses AutoCAD, which is nearly universal. The CD for this plan includes the files in both SoftPlan and AutoCAD–ready .dwg, as well as in .pdf for easy viewing on your home or office computer.
