Description

This charming house has a unique blend of different styles, and its narrow width makes it ideal for smaller lots. The front entry is framed with square boxed columns, and directly above the entry there is a balcony porch that is framed with tapered Doric style columns. This home offers generous–sized living spaces, and an optional basement with an open family room, an office, and a fourth bedroom.

The entry foyer has a coat closet and a stairwell to the upper floor, with door openings that peek into the kitchen straight ahead and the living room to the left. The living room is open to the dining room, creating a flexible living space, and has a fireplace on one wall. Windows are located on the front and side walls, filling the room with abundant natural light. A smaller opening from the dining room leads to a family room that has sliding glass doors that walk out to the rear entry stoop. Another wider opening in the dining room leads to a large kitchen that has a center work island and a breakfast counter. From the kitchen, a door opening leads to a rear mud hall that has room for a bench and a coat closet, and accesses a powder room and the two–car garage.

Although the garage door opening faces the rear, it would be easy to move the opening to the side, if this works better on your site.

The upstairs landing has a balcony to look down at part of the foyer below, and a door to a balcony porch that faces the front. The master bedroom has a flat ceiling height of 10' in the center that slopes down to approximately 7' at the sides. It features a walk–in closet and a master bath with a whirlpool tub, two lavatory sinks, and a private toilet room with a separate shower. Along with the master suite on the upper floor, there are two additional bedrooms, a laundry room with a utility sink and linen closet, and a full bath with plenty of storage space.

The basement level has an open family room/recreation room, a large sized office, a fourth bedroom, a full bath, and a utility/storage room.

Foundation Info
This house was originally designed to have a basement foundation. However, if you prefer a crawlspace or a slab foundation, these are fairly simple and inexpensive changes that your builder can often make for you. If the basement design is not displayed in the Floor Plans, it's because it is unfinished.
