This exquisite Craftsman–style home provides ample room to enjoy the outdoor scenery, with a front porch that spans the width of the house, and a full span rear porch with a wraparound deck. Classic wood detailing and craftsmanship are found throughout, from the exterior cedar shingles, wood columns and brackets, to the interior wood posts, molding, and wainscoting.

The inviting 9'–deep front covered entry porch is framed with tapered wood columns atop stone bases that also support the upper floor. Once inside the entry hallway, just to your left there is a coat closet, the stairway to the upper level, and a door to Bedroom 1. This bedroom features large windows facing the front and side, a private full bath, and a walk–in closet. Just to the right of the entry door there is an opening – framed by a pair of handsome square wood columns – to a formal dining room. The sunny dining room has windows that look out to the front and side, and has an opening to the kitchen for direct access.

A pair of windows over the kitchen sink, and two more in the corner, provide abundant natural light and views. Like all of the rooms on this main level, the ceiling in the kitchen is set at a lofty 10'. A center island provides additional counter space as well as a breakfast bar. Two elegant wood–framed openings lead to either the sunny breakfast nook or the living room. Just across the entry hallway from the kitchen there is a vestibule that accesses a laundry room, a powder room, and a door to the lower garage level.

The wide living room at the rear of the house has a wall of glazed doors and windows that look out to the covered rear porch and beyond. A central fireplace flanked by two tall windows is located at one end of the room, and the sunny breakfast nook is located at the other.

On the upper floor, the oversized landing provides room for a built–in bookcase/shelving. A door to the left leads to the master suite. The master bedroom has three windows that look out to the rear, and dormers on each side of the room provides additional windows for light and ventilation. The ceiling – set at 10' – slopes down at the corners, for a unique look and feel. The master bath has a private toilet room and space for both a tub and a separate shower. There is a huge walk–in closet off the bathroom with dormer windows for natural light, and attic storage space can be accessed from the bedroom and the stair landing.

Bedroom 2 has a dormer that looks out to the rear and opens up the ceiling so it's mostly 10' high with some sloping at the sides. Bedroom 2 shares a full bath with Bedroom 3, which has a walk–in closet and a 10' flat ceiling at the center that slopes down to 5' at the end walls.

This home was originally built on a sloped lot, so the garage was built on the basement level with the garage doors on the right side of the house. A pair of doors located next to the garage doors open into an area that would make an ideal workshop. The optional basement level also has two storage rooms and a mechanical room.

Please Note
We have a near–matching 2–car garage with living space on the upper level called Carolina Craftsman Garage.
