Once again, designer Jon Rentfrow has combined a number of different exterior materials and textures to create a stunningly attractive home. In this case, the classic facade is composed of synthetic stone, cedar siding mounted both horizontally and vertically along with cedar shutters and columns, high–contrast stucco, and a ribbed metal roof over the front and rear porches. It features a luxurious master suite on the main level, and three more bedrooms upstairs, each with its own full bath.

Three closely spaced columns on either side support a barrel–roofed covering over a portion of the covered front porch. The front door opens to a two–story foyer with a window high on the wall for light. The formal dining room on the left is open to both the foyer and the great room, separated visually by paneled columns and beams. This room features a pair of windows looking out to and through the front porch, and a 9' ceiling (like all the rooms on this level other than the great room) that drops by 6" near the edges and is crossed by decorative boxed beams.

Straight ahead from the foyer the ceiling height drops to 9' before popping up to a soaring 18' in the great room. The far wall is filled with large windows looking out to the rear, and equally wide multi–paned windows are positioned above them for even more light and views. A fireplace and built–in TV on one wall can also be enjoyed by folks in the kitchen and dining nook, across from which a glass door opens to a 36'–wide covered rear porch.

The kitchen has a large center island with a vegetable sink on top and plenty of room for storage underneath. The sinks are positioned beneath a pair of windows, and countertops and cabinets wrap around all three walls. There's a butler's service area positioned between the kitchen and the dining room, and a walk–in pantry off the mudroom. There's a sunny nook off the kitchen space with views to both the rear and the side, and a conveniently located built–in desk just outside the butler's station wall.

An opening from the kitchen leads to a mudroom with a closet and a bench. Three doors open to either a laundry room, a sunny 3–car garage, and the aforementioned pantry.

To the right of the foyer, you pass the stairs to the upper and (optional) lower levels before reaching a vestibule that provides access to a coat closet, a powder room, a study, and the master suite. The stairs have a wide window at the landing, and the study – which could of course be used as a guest bedroom, nursery, or home office – has a closet and a view to the front.

Like the ceiling in the dining room, the ceiling in the master bedroom is set at 9' with a 6" drop around the edges. The far wall has a pair of windows as well as sliding glass doors that open to the rear porch. A pair of doors open to the master bath that features a large jetted tub beneath a pair of windows that is warmed by a see–thru fireplace with a TV above it, an over–sized shower with glass block openings in the corner, two vanities, and a private toilet. There's also a huge walk–in closet off the bath area with a glass block opening that provides natural light without fading clothing.

At the landing on the upper level there are two doors that open to Bedrooms 2 and 3. Each bedroom has windows for light and views, a walk–in closet, and a full bath. If you turn left at the top of the stairs you pass railings on either side that look down into either the foyer or the great room before reaching an open loft space. The loft is quite spacious, and enjoys views to the front and the rear (through the high windows in the great room). Just beyond it is a guest room with its own full bath, and a closet for mechanicals.

The lower level, should you choose to build it, was left unfinished.
