  • Soaring Clg. in Great Room
  • Extra Large Pantry
  • Fireplace
  • Large Upper Bonus Room
  • 2 Master Suites

You enter the house via a covered entryway that vaults to 16' in the center. The foyer – like all the rooms on the main level except the great room – features a lofty 10' ceiling. Natural light fills this space during the day through tall windows that flank the door, plus wider windows on either side. When you enter you're looking directly into (and through) the great room. As you enter it, the ceiling above you soars to a dramatic 24'! An exposed wooden beam crosses the ceiling left to right, and three more beams angle off of it, sloping down towards the rear wall.

The great room features a large fireplace flanked by built–in shelving. It' s positioned on a side wall so that it can also be enjoyed from both the dining space and the kitchen. Nearly the entire rear–facing wall is filled with tall windows that are topped by two rows of multi–paned windows that rise nearly to the ceiling, providing spectacular views and abundant natural light.

The dining space is situated between the great room and the kitchen, and is open to both spaces. Tall sliding glass doors open to a terrace where the original homeowners had a grill station and a fire pit. Opposite the door there' s a half–wall with a built–in buffet and bar, and a large island in the kitchen with a vegetable sink on top has room for casual eating or serving.

The 10–foot ceiling in the kitchen is coffered, again featuring the wood detailing that's employed throughout the house. The sinks are positioned beneath a trio of windows for light and views, and the outer walls are lined with cabinets and countertops. A door in the corner opens to an extra–large walk–in pantry, and a short hallway off the kitchen has doors opening to a second master suite, a powder room, and a spacious laundry/mudroom. A door on the far wall opens to a three–car garage with storage space above it.

This bedroom suite has two separate closets – one in the bedroom itself, and another slightly larger one in the bath area. It would function beautifully as a guest bedroom, or an in–law suite, should you need one.

The master suite is located on the other end of the house, where a small vestibule off the foyer provides access to both it and a handsome den. The master bedroom features a 10' ceiling with coffered wood beams, and a tall glass door flanked by matching windows that opens to a 6'–deep covered deck area at the rear of the house. The elegant master bath has both a soaking tub beneath a pair of windows and an extra large shower, two separated vanities, a private toilet, and a dressing area with a built–in seat just outside of a walk–in closet. It also features a 14'–tall vaulted ceiling, and a grouping of windows above head height for lots of natural sunlight.

Across from the suite, accessed from the same vestibule, is a den with views to the front and one side, and coffered ceiling just like in the master bedroom. This room can be incorporated into the master suite if you'd like, as a reading room and/or a home office. A door could be added on either side wall if you'd like folks to enter the office without entering the house.

At the landing on the upper level, a door on your right opens to a huge "bonus" room with a unique multi–angled vaulted ceiling, views in three directions, and access to attic storage. A door straight ahead at the landing opens to a bedroom suite; and to your left a bridge with an open railing that looks down to the great room and out through the upper windows leads to another bedroom suite. Both suites feature vaulted ceilings (rising from 9' to 13' in bedroom 3 and 9' to 11' in bedroom 4), and views to the rear. Bedroom 3 also has its own private deck.
