Entry into this home is from a large front entry deck, which brings you into a large foyer. The deck wraps around three sides of the home, allowing for entry from a side door near the kitchen as well. The foyer opens into an extremely efficient open floor plan of the living, dining and kitchen areas of the home. All the rooms on this side of the home have abundant windows to take advantage of a rear view. The living room has raised ceilings and exposed wood beams. The kitchen is large and open, with plenty of counter space and storage cabinets. The main level has a modest sized bedroom and a full bath.

The entire upper level of the home is dedicated to the master suite. It has a large walk–in closet with access to additional attic storage on both sides. The master bath is very spacious, and boasts a large whirlpool tub. The master bedroom itself has an optional window seat below rearview windows.

Lakeside Cottage was originally designed for a side sloping lot, which allowed for the garage to be hidden below the home. If you choose to build the basement level there is room for the option of two additional bedrooms and a shared full bath. If the slope of the lot does not allow for the garage, this space would work well as a large recreation room or as storage.
