The front door off the covered entry porch opens to the living areas of the house. Upon entering the house, the coat closet is on your right and stairs to the upper level is on your left. The second floor above creates an 8–foot ceiling at the entry, and distinguishes the entry foyer from the main, vaulted living space. The far wall of the living and dining areas has both wide and narrow windows set into a 13'6"–tall wall. The ceiling rises from there to a dramatic 20' at the centerline of the house, just above the peninsula dividing the dining space from the kitchen.

This peninsula countertop includes a breakfast/serving bar on one side. The space above it is left open so that those in the kitchen can enjoy the rear views, as well as any activity in the living and dining areas. A pocket door opens to a laundry that then opens to the garage. The original homeowners chose to position the one–car garage on an angle, but its size and location could be easily changed by your builder.

Just past the stairs on the other side of the house is the master suite. The bedroom has windows facing front and back, providing views and plenty of natural light.

On the upper level there are two additional bedrooms and a full bath. An oversized balcony, with views to the living space below, was designed to be a sewing/craft nook, but may be used as an office or reading space.
