As you step into the house, there is a coat closet to your left and stairs to the loft and lower level on your right. The living room is straight ahead, with an 8' ceiling that rises suddenly to 14' before sloping back down to 8' at the rear windows. The windows look out to and through the rear deck area, which is accessed by a glazed door on the left. Another door on the right opens to a screened porch. A large fireplace can be enjoyed from all the living spaces.

The ceiling in the dining area also vaults, rising to 12' in the center. Three windows are topped by angled transoms that follow the line of the ceiling, providing great views to that side. A door off the dining space opens to the same screened porch at the rear. The efficient kitchen has a sloped ceiling, a peninsula counter facing the dining area for easy serving, and windows over the sink that look out to the front.

The other side of the house is devoted to the master suite and a guest suite bedroom with it's own full bath that are accessed via a short hallway off the entry. The master bedroom features a sloped ceiling, abundant natural light and views to the rear, and direct access to the rear deck. And as you will see from the floor plans, the homeowners chose to install a fireplace facing the living areas that was two–sided so it could also be enjoyed in the master bedroom.

Upstairs is an open loft with a half bath. The ceiling slopes to a clerestory window, which fills the space with sunlight and provides great views to the rear. Railings front and back look down to either the living room or the stairwell. This might be an ideal spot for a home office or reading space.

The partial basement on the lower level has a large recreation room with a fireplace, a full bath, and a glazed door next to three windows that open to the rear outdoor area. There is also a second laundry room with storage, a large storage space that can be accessed directly from outside, and a mechanical room.
