Description
Originally built on a sloping site by the beach, this three story wood shingled house has five decks, and a winding exterior staircase that leads to the third floor. It has plenty of glazing, with glass doors, a skylight, and round accent windows to enjoy the outdoor view.
You may enter the house from any of the three levels. From the ground level, you may come in from the driveway, after parking the car in the garage. You enter into the family room, which has a full bath, and stairs to the upper floors. The laundry area is also located on this level, off the garage.
From the second level, you enter off the entry deck, which brings you into a hallway foyer. Off this foyer are the master bedroom and bath, a second bedroom, a full bath, and stairs leading to the third floor. Each bedroom features walk–in closets and its own private deck.
Walking up the exterior stairs to the third level brings you to a deck off of the living room. Entering through here brings you to the open living, dining and kitchen space. A half bath sits in one corner, along with a wood stove. Glazed doors lead to two separate decks off of the living and dining rooms. A skylight above brings in additional sunlight.
Foundation Info
This house was originally designed to have a basement foundation. However, if you prefer a crawlspace or a slab foundation, these are fairly simple and inexpensive changes that your builder can often make for you. If the basement design is not displayed in the Floor Plans, it's because it is unfinished.
