Description

This home has all the comforts of country living, yet has a luxurious feel with a brick entry porch, a grand stairwell, and three fireplaces. The two–story entry porch is flanked by two brick veneered columns, and has a large picture window over the entry doors.

The entry foyer has a two–story ceiling, with living spaces located off of it, and an open central staircase. The foyer walls are angled to create a space with eight sides, which essentially creates the layout for the rest of the house. To the right of the foyer is a sunken living room, with a bay window and a fireplace. Next to the living room are a linen closet, a half bath, and a den. On the other side of the foyer is an octagon shaped dining room, which is also sunken down one foot. A pair of doors from the foyer leads to an open family room, kitchen, and breakfast nook. A fireplace sits on one end of the family room, which features 13–foot high ceilings, and exterior walls are angled to create different views and more intimate spaces.

As you go upstairs, the stairs split in two directions at the landing. To the right of the stairwell, the stairs lead to a master suite, and to the left it leads to two bedrooms. This creates two spaces at the upper floor, which are separated by the open entry foyer below. The private master suite features a fireplace, two separate walk–in closets, and a spacious full bathroom with both a shower and a spa tub. The spa tub has its own room, with two walls of glazing, which creates a space to relax and enjoy. The other side of the upper floor has two bedrooms, a full bathroom, and a laundry room. Stairs lead from this floor to an upper attic with skylights, which is located over the family room.

Foundation Info
This house was originally designed to have a crawlspace foundation. However, if you prefer a basement or slab foundation, these are fairly simple and inexpensive changes that your builder can often make for you.
