Large timbers frame the exterior entry porch, which is located next to the dining room. The foyer space has a long angled wall that would be perfect for furniture and/or artwork, and the ceiling in this area is set at an impressive 12'. Straight ahead, the open living room vaults to a dramatic 17'6", and windows that start at floor level and are topped by transom windows with decorative small panes grace the entire back wall, inviting sunlight and views to the outdoors. There's a centrally–located fireplace on one side, and a door at the far end of the room opens to a screened porch, creating additional space to sit and relax. Next to the living room are a stairway to the basement, and a small vestibule that accesses a full bath that doubles as a guest bathroom, and a bedroom with a dramatic 12' ceiling and its own private deck.

The kitchen and a lovely breakfast nook with a view to and through the screened porch are completely open to the living room. It features a large center island with a range, so that one can prepare a meal while enjoying the activity in the living room. The dining room has angled walls that face the front, which are covered by what looks like a turret roof from the outside. The ceiling height is set at a dramatic 12'. This room shares the unique angled wall in the foyer, and is conveniently located across the hall from the kitchen. Next to the dining room, a short hallway leads past a pantry closet to a laundry room, a half bath, and a 2–car garage.

The remainder of the house on this level is devoted to the master suite. The master bedroom features a ceiling that peaks at 12', lots of windows on two walls for views and natural light, a walk–in closet, and a door leading to a private deck. A short hall leads past a master bath with a whirlpool tub that's surrounded by windows, an extra–large shower, two sinks, and a private toilet to a good–sized exercise room with views in two directions.

The unfinished basement may be finished to create a third bedroom, a full bath, and a family room. Additional space allows for storage or for mechanical equipment, but remains flexible for those with different needs.
