Good Morning 2 has been revised from the original in a number of small but potentially important ways. The 2–car garage has been extended to accommodate 3 vehicles; the study has been extended to create a theater room; and the full bath near the laundry has been reduced to a half bath to make room for a larger walk–in closet in the master suite.

As you enter the house there's a short hallway on your left that provides access to a powder room, the 3–car garage, and a laundry room. Straight ahead there's a coat closet on your left, while on the right there's a door that opens to a room that the homeowners chose to use as a theater, but could of course have any one of several other uses. Beyond it you pass stairs to the upper and (optional) lower levels before entering the main living spaces of the house.

It's here that things get interesting and exciting. As you step into the great room the ceiling soars from 10' to a dramatic 21', and the outer wall curves around to include the dining area. This wall is filled with windows on both the main and upper level, providing great views to each, and an incredible amount of natural light. At the midpoint of the curve there's a large fireplace that faces a kitchen that's set at 45–degrees to the lines of the house.

Open to both the great room and the dining space, the kitchen has a long counter with a range and a vegetable sink – so one can cook and enjoy both the activity in the house and the view – and a curved raised bar for casual eating or serving. Like the rest of the main level, the kitchen has a 10' ceiling, and a walk–in pantry next to it. There are three doors off the dining area – one opening to the rear yard, another opening to the master suite, and a pair that open to a screened porch.

The master bedroom has tall windows at the corners for light and views, as well as sliding glass doors that open to the screened porch. A pocket door provides direct access to the bath, while an opening leads to a hall with a long closet and a walk–in closet. There's also access to the laundry and the master bath, where there's a tub beneath a pair of windows and a large shower.

At the top of the stairs to the upper level there's a lovely curved loft space with an open railing that looks down into the great room. There's a great view from here through the upper windows of the curved wall, making it an ideal site for an office or a reading space. There are two additional bedrooms on this level that share a full bath and a private balcony.

The lower level of the home was designed as a potential walkout basement. The size and shape is about the same as the main level. Other than the mechanical room of the home, it is unfinished. Provisions have been made in the plans for the addition of another full bath, thus allowing for the possibility of a future guest bedroom or recreation area.
