The original homeowners chose stucco and synthetic stone with cedar details for the exterior of this handsome home. The unpretentious front of the house gives little indication of the dramatic and exciting look of both the interior and the rear. Should you need one, the garage includes a bay deep and wide enough for a full–sized RV.

Upon entering the house from the covered entryway, the view straight ahead is to and through the beautiful great room. If you refer to the floor plan for the main level, you'll see a dotted line running from the front of the covered entryway to the rear of the covered deck off the great room. This is the peak of a vaulted ceiling that rises to a dramatic 17'6".

On your left as you enter the house there's a formal dining room with a ceiling that steps up from 10' at the walls to 11' in the center, while on your right there's a den with a 10' ceiling that features crossing cedar beams. On the way to the great room you pass a hallway to the left that leads to a mudroom, a laundry room, and the garage. You also pass a powder room on your left and a dramatic curved stairway to the lower level.

The side walls in the great room are set at 12'6", rising to 17'6" at the center, and the rear wall is composed of floor to ceiling windows. Exposed (non-bearing) trusses cross the vaulted ceiling. The spacious kitchen is open to both the great room and a casual dining area, and a pass–through opening leads past a walk–in pantry and a butler's pantry to either the formal dining room or the mudroom/laundry/garage. A fireplace set into synthetic stone that rises to the ceiling faces both the great room and the casual dining area.

The master bedroom suite is located on this main level, on the side opposite the kitchen. Like the formal dining room, both the entry alcove and the master bedroom have ceilings that step up from 10' to 11'. The bedroom has its own small fireplace, and sliding glass doors that lead to the open and covered rear deck. The bath area features a large soaking tub beneath two windows in the corner, a large shower, two separated sinks, a private toilet, and a walk–in closet.

The curved stairway leads to a large recreation area on the lower level of the house. It includes a full bar and lounge/gaming area and a powder room beyond it. The original homeowners had their builder construct a "mine shaft" that leads to a small "casino" area and a large home theater. There are two additional bedrooms on this level with separate sink areas and a shared bath. Most of the spaces on this level have ceilings set at 9'9", with exception to the theater, which has a ceiling that steps down from 8'9" to 7'9". Some of the accessory spaces, such as the wet bar area, walk–in closet, and the shared bath, have a ceiling height of 8'9".
