Description

As you step into the foyer from the covered front porch there's a gorgeous circular open stairway on your right, with stairs leading to the lower level just as you enter and stairs to the upper level just beyond. On the left there's a conveniently located coat closet and powder room. The foyer – like most of the rooms on the main level – has a lofty 10' ceiling, and it is crossed by a trio of exposed decorative beams.

Upon entering the living areas of the house there's a wrap around wet bar on your left that's next to the kitchen and faces the great room. The kitchen features a large island with a prep sink on top, plenty of counter and cabinet space, sinks in the corner beneath a pair of windows, and a large walk–in pantry. A pocket door opens to a mudroom with a coat closet, a storage closet, and cubbies, along with a powder room. A door here opens to an oversized 3–car garage with plenty of room for storage and/or a workshop.

Next to (and open to) the kitchen is a uniquely shaped dining room with a two–sided fireplace and wrap around views. A door on the left opens to a covered deck with a grill station, while another on the other side opens to another covered deck that wraps around both outer walls of the great room. Both covered decks transition to an open deck area set between them at the rear of the house.

The sunken great room has a ceiling that soars to almost 20' along a diagonal beam down the center of the room, with additional exposed beams angling to the 16'–tall outer walls. These walls hold large picture windows topped by transom windows, providing abundant natural light and fantastic views.

The circular stairway to the upper level is wrapped with tall windows. A large loft space at the top provides access to four bedrooms along with the master suite. All four bedrooms are identical in size and shape, and each has a pair of side–by–side windows for light and views, but bedroom 4 and 5 also have bump–outs with windows that would be perfect for desks, and slightly larger closets. The laundry is located on this level, across from a full bath that the bedrooms share.

As you approach the master suite there's an open railing that looks down to the great room, and out the upper transom windows. The master bedroom has a three–segment vaulted ceiling, a bumped–out window bay, and access to a private deck. The bath area is quite spacious, with a large soaking tub in one corner beneath four windows, a large shower with a bench and natural light in another, a pair of sinks, a private toilet, and an extra large walk–in closet.

The foundation plans are for an unfinished basement, but you could of course have a crawlspace or slab foundation if you prefer.
