The design of this classic four–bedroom home was inspired by both Greek Revival and Colonial style homes. The results, as you can see, were stunning. The exterior features painted clapboard, wood shutters, and multi–paned windows, and they stayed with traditional detailing throughout the interior.

The front door is outlined by small windows, and additional sunlight comes into the foyer through a side window. Directly ahead as you enter are the stairs to the upper level, and a hall leading to the kitchen. A wide cased opening on your left as you're passing the stairs brings you to the spacious living room. Like all the spaces on the main level, the ceiling in this room is set at a comfortable 9', and on the far wall it features a fireplace flanked by tall windows, four tall built–in shelves, and a pair of window seats.

Another cased opening leads to the formal dining room. This room also has tall multi–pane windows on two adjacent walls, plus a pair of glazed doors that open to a deck at the rear of the house. Another opening brings you to the spacious 17'x17' kitchen. This room features a central island with built–in sinks on top and a curved raised bar on the outer edge for casual eating or serving; two windows for light and views to the back yard, with a built–in seat beneath one of them; and a large pantry with a built–in desk and a wide window across a short hall.

At the end of the entry hallway, just before you reach the kitchen, there's a door to the stairs to the basement level (should you choose to build it), a powder room, and a coat closet. And there's an attached one–car garage on the right side of the house that is accessed by a door off the short hall between the kitchen and the pantry.

Upstairs there are two master suites along with two additional bedrooms – one at the front and one at the rear. The two regular bedrooms occupy the space over the garage, and they feature high sloping ceilings and large dormer windows. All four bedrooms feature great light and views in two directions. If you prefer a master suite with a larger bath and closet space, and don't need two masters, you could combine the two bathrooms into one space, and have the remaining bedroom share the full bath used by the other two bedrooms.
