Sky High is a unique four–story house with a very small footprint. It was originally designed in the center of an island with dense vegetation, which effectively hid views of the nearby lake. The architect solved the problem by designing a vertical "tree house", incorporating four levels above the ground.

This home is a testament to the belief that size and budget are not limiting factors for good design, and that a home can be both satisfying and beautiful as long as it responds to its site, and to the owner's lifestyle and budget. Small can be beautiful, as this house clearly demonstrates.

The interior of this handsome two–story home features clean lines combined with beautiful wood details, which produce a feeling of spaciousness and comfort. The modest exterior materials – the plans call for a stucco finish, accented with stone veneer and wood details – should help to keep construction costs down.

Total Sq. Ft.: 3682 Bedrooms: 4 Baths: 4.5
This wood shingled home, with its wood shutters and small paned windows, has a quaint exterior that can fit in almost any neighborhood. It has a covered porch in front and a covered veranda in the rear for enjoying the outdoors, and the upstairs boasts a game room and a bonus room if desired.
Architect:

Total Sq. Ft.: 3045 Bedrooms: 4 Baths: 3.5
This is a slightly smaller version of the original Bay Wood plan. Like the original, this home has large windows located to take advantage of views from almost all rooms. It is an adaptable design that packs a lot of home into a relatively small footprint.
