The clean lines, elegant proportions, and sensitive way that this cabin sits on the land earned it an NWAIA Citation Award and publication in The Cabin Book, 2004, Universe Publishing. This simple one–room, timber–frame cabin measures 22' x 30' with a 10' wide wraparound deck. It is rich with wood details at both the interior and exterior.

Good Morning 2 has been revised from the original in a number of small but potentially important ways. The 2–car garage has been extended to accommodate 3 vehicles; the study has been extended to create a theater room; and the full bath near the laundry has been reduced to a half bath to make room for a larger walk–in closet in the master suite.

This two–(or three–) bedroom home blends a variety of vernacular styles, allowing it to fit into a variety of neighborhoods and settings. It has a quaint and fairly low front, which widens and grows taller at the rear. Although it was originally designed for a sloping lot with a walkout basement, it can be adapted to a flat lot as well.

This stately luxury home features a truly unique facade. The stone veneer works beautifully with the cement stucco, the ornate window styles and shapes are unlike any we've seen before, and the multiple rooflines tie it all together. It also features a split–level study that's accessed via the landing leading to the upper floor, and two 2–car garages separated by a motor courtyard.

This house is based on one of the typical farmhouses common in Maine, built in the late 1800's. This version has been updated to meet current living patterns, but it still follows the traditional series of spaces, namely the big house, little house, and barn.
