Hillside House

This house was designed for clients who had a beautiful hillside that looks westward into a gorgeous bay in Maine. Granite ledges stepped away down the hill to the west, and a grove of mature spruce trees made the site private and gave it a great sense of place.

Pier's Port

Pier's Port is a spacious six-bedroom home, with an attached in-law unit, den, an upper loft, and a sewing room. The various roof heights, roof brackets, and dormers create a level of intimacy, so that the house doesn't feel as large as it really is.

Nasookin

This is a dramatic house for a dramatic site! The Nasookin has strong roof forms, which create very interesting spaces in the three upstairs bedrooms, while the arched and bow windows give the house a distinctive look. On a sloping site, the basement will readily accommodate a separate suite.
