Passive Solar Design

Total Sq. Ft.: 2937  Bedrooms: 3  Baths: 3.5

Sea Breeze has a simple exterior form, but it is full of surprises inside, and has lots of outdoor spaces for those who like to be close to nature. The front porch runs the length of the house, widening to a 12' depth on either end. There's also a covered porch and a screened porch in the rear of the house, and a 2–story solarium that starts in the basement. If you wish to take advantage of its passive solar design, the front of this house should face west.

Solstice

Solstice is a simple yet distinctive home, with a large first floor that includes the master suite, and a unique floor plan for the upper level. The great room is vaulted, as are all of the upstairs rooms. If you wish to take advantage of its passive solar design, the front of this house should face north.

Roaring Fork

Architect: Jon Rentfrow
Rentfrow Residential Design

Total Sq. Ft.: 7563  Bedrooms: 4  Baths: 4.5

This gorgeous and utterly unique home almost defies description! The multiple roof sections are covered with either metal or tile, and the outer walls are covered with v–grooved stucco and synthetic stone, but these words fail to describe the impact that these materials make on the overall appearance of the house. Built on property that slopes to the front in the direction of the view, this is truly one of the most unique homes we've ever seen!

Contemporary European Home

Architect: R K Faust
Upright Design Group

Total Sq. Ft.: 5183  Bedrooms: 4  Baths: 5.5

This contemporary home has strong European influences in both the interior and exterior details. Brick and stone veneer grace the exterior of the house, along with wooden shutters that frame the arched brick–lined window openings. And the multiple rooflines add to the unique and handsome appearance of the exterior.
