Views abound in all directions except the garage in this stunningly attractive house. The facade is composed of stucco and synthetic stone, with lots of interesting accents and details. Gables and gabled dormers contrast beautifully with the front–sloping French Country–style roof, and the multi–paned windows add to the overall effect. This same attention to detail is reflected in the interior of the house as well.

This modified version of the extremely popular Luxury Living home is ideal for those who don't wish to build a lower (walk–out basement) level. Another bedroom has been added, while keeping the same square footage on the main level as the original house. Along with the removal of the basement level, the main level powder room is relocated to the front entry, which creates a more open and spacious breakfast area with clear views outward. On the upper level there is now a full bedroom suite with a full bath, and with the removal of one of the staircases, it allows for additional square footage for a loft area next to the library.

The wood timber details at both the interior and exterior of the house combine beautifully with the steeply pitched roofs with dormers on both sides. Both door entries at the front and the rear are graced with an arched header, and once inside, the hearth room and the screened porch have vaulted ceilings with exposed wood timbers.

This charming house has a unique blend of different styles, and its narrow width makes it ideal for smaller lots. The front entry is framed with square boxed columns, and directly above the entry there is a balcony porch that is framed with tapered Doric style columns. This home offers generous–sized living spaces, and an optional basement with an open family room, an office, and a fourth bedroom.

The architect designed this house for herself, to sit on a small piece of property in a quaint neighborhood. Its spacious interior feel was created by a design that includes a variety of ceiling heights, rooms that are open to each other, and light from two sides in every room. This beautiful and functional home owes its character to design ideas rather than to expensive materials or details.
