One Story With Separate Master

Architect: Mount Bachelor Design Studio
Mount Bachelor Design Studio

Total Sq. Ft.: 2592  Bedrooms: 3  Baths: 3.0

This handsome home has a very unique and well thought out floor plan. The foyer acts like a breezeway between two wings of the house, one of which is occupied almost exclusively by a stunning master suite. Natural wood is featured throughout the interior, but most noticeably in the great room, where exposed wood trusses support a vaulted wood ceiling that sits above a hardwood floor! All the rooms of this one–story house have terrific views, and there's an outdoor courtyard nested between the two wings of the house.

ZigZag Views

Total Sq. Ft.: 3162  Bedrooms: 3  Baths: 4.0

It's hard to tell from the photo on the left, but this is a truly unique house. It is shaped like an inverted "V" whose lines have an irregular saw–tooth pattern that provides an incredible panoramic view in all directions! In fact, every room in this one–story house has a terrific view. And nearly every room has a vaulted ceiling. If you have a wide lot and a view, you owe it to yourself to take a look at the floor plans and photos of this extraordinary home.

One Level With Three Bedrooms

Architect: Mount Bachelor Design Studio
Mount Bachelor Design Studio

Total Sq. Ft.: 3012  Bedrooms: 3  Baths: 3.5

This handsome single story home features dramatic vaulted ceilings in the living areas and the master bedroom, spectacular views (particularly to the rear), and an enclosed entry courtyard in front. The master suite is located at one side of the house, with two additional bedroom suites at the other. The kitchen, dining area and great room are all located within the large central space. The attached oversized two–car garage has a third space for a standard–sized car or golf cart.

One Floor With Walk-Out Lower

Architect: Jon Rentfrow
Rentfrow Residential Design

Total Sq. Ft.: 2744  Bedrooms: 2  Baths: 2.5

While handsome and beautifully detailed, the front of this house gives no indication of its dramatic interior and fantastic views! There's a master and a guest suite on the main level, while the downstairs is designed for another guest suite, a large recreation area with a full bar, and an exercise room that could be a bedroom by simply adding a closet. Ceiling heights vary from a lofty 10' to a dramatic 13' in the great room.

Magnificent Mountain Living

Architect: Paul Deardorff
TKP Architects

Total Sq. Ft.: 3592  Bedrooms: 3  Baths: 2.5

This stunning mountain home has two decks at the front – a long one that angles and ends at the front door, and another that wraps around the master bedroom – and one at the rear that wraps around the living room. And it enjoys views in every direction. The original lot was sloped to one side, so they included a walk out basement that was left unfinished, and they built a curving staircase to provide access to the front deck. The master suite is on one end of the house, and on the other end up a half level (again because of their lot) there are two more bedrooms over the garage. When you see the photo of the interior, you'll understand why we call this a magnificent house!
