Craftsman Lodge Home

Architect: Christian Gladieux
Gladieux & Associates

Total Sq. Ft.: 4506  Bedrooms: 4  Baths: 4.5

As the name implies, this is a lodge–type home with classic Craftsman–style detailing both inside and out. At the rear of the house there are three separate covered porches – off the great room, dining room, and the family/media room. The master suite upstairs features a private balcony and a fireplace in the bedroom, and there's room for three additional bedrooms on this level, along with a laundry room and a home office. A large home theater is located above the attached 3–car garage.

Multi-Gabled Craftsman Classic

Architect: David LiaBraaten
DesignHaus

Total Sq. Ft.: 4208  Bedrooms: 4  Baths: 4.5

The first thing you notice as you approach this classic Craftsman–style house are the gables – there are six of them facing the front, and a seventh over the third garage bay facing the entryway. Each of them features traditional wooden knee braces, and this wood detailing is evident throughout the interior. The rear of the house has five more gables with matching Craftsman detailing. Two stone veneer–sheathed columns support the covered entry, and this stone exterior cladding is used extensively along the lower portions of the house.

Carolina Craftsman Cottage

Architect: William J. Addison, AIA
Addison Rainey Architects

Total Sq. Ft.: 3025  Bedrooms: 4  Baths: 3.5

This Craftsman classic was designed for a family in the Carolinas, but it would fit into almost any neighbor anywhere you'd like to live. A 10'–deep covered porch spans the entire front of the house, while an even deeper porch spans the rear. The upper level includes a large master suite along with two additional bedrooms, and there's another bedroom on the main level for guests or older family members, which could of course be used for other purposes if you wish.

Creative Craftsman

Architect: Christian Gladieux
Gladieux & Associates

Total Sq. Ft.: 2978  Bedrooms: 4  Baths: 2.5

This Craftsman style home features a generous covered front porch that spans the width of the home, and long shed dormers on both sides of the upper level. The kitchen has the signature arts and crafts breakfast nook, with peek–a–boo windows that look out to the living room and the foyer. The master suite is on the main level at the rear of the house, while upstairs there are three more bedrooms, a large playroom, and the laundry room.

Craftsman With A Side View

Architect: Robert Hartford
Hartford Designs

Total Sq. Ft.: 2905  Bedrooms: 4  Baths: 2.5

Clean lines – inside and out – distinguish this lovely Craftsman–style house. Large open spaces on the main floor create flexible living spaces, and the two upper floor variations allow you to choose between having a three or four–bedroom home. The primary view is to one side, but there's both an open deck and screened porch at the rear of the house. The living room has a tall ceiling with a sloping portion with skylights in it, and a two–sided fireplace between it and the dining room.
