Arts & Crafts Home

Architect: Christian Gladieux
Gladieux & Associates

Total Sq. Ft.: 3088  Bedrooms: 4  Baths: 2.5

The Arts & Crafts movement gave us the classic styling of Craftsman design. Thanks to its simple rectangular shape and simple rooflines, this two–story home can be built without breaking your budget, while still providing a wonderful look and feel inside and out. On the main level there's a master suite at the rear for peace and quiet, a 9'–deep porch across the front of the house, and a deck off the dining room for outdoor dining. Upstairs, in addition to three more bedrooms, there's a family room and an office space that could be used as a den.

Bay Wood

Architect: Ed Kriskywicz
Construction Design

Total Sq. Ft.: 3371  Bedrooms: 4  Baths: 3.5

The main level of this handsome home features a large family room off the kitchen, along with separate living and dining rooms, while the upper level has three bedrooms (plus an optional fourth above the garage) along with a study and a laundry room. There are great views to the front, the rear, and one entire side, so the house is filled with light during the day.

Maple Forest 3

Architect: Michaela Mahady, AIA, CID, Principal
SALA Architects, Inc.

Total Sq. Ft.: 2527  Bedrooms: 4  Baths: 3.0

In this third version of our most popular home, the architects once again removed 10% of the overall square footage and 20% of the cost to build when compared to the original. There are numerous changes to the floor plan, the most significant of which was adding a bedroom suite to the main level. The appearance of the house, however, has changed as little as possible.

Coastal Home

Architect: Ed Kriskywicz
Construction Design

Total Sq. Ft.: 2020  Bedrooms: 3  Baths: 2.0

Interesting angles and shapes add architectural appeal and character to this unique home. The exterior of this rugged design is a combination of plank siding with cedar shingles above, painted metal roofing, and rough sawn cedar corner posts and trim. Round accent windows, and the pointed end of the home (like the bow of a ship), are designed to fit in a waterfront location, but clearly would be at home overlooking any view.

Timber Frame Inside & Out

Architect: Michael J. Eckhardt

Total Sq. Ft.: 2602  Bedrooms: 3  Baths: 2.5

The wood timber details at both the interior and exterior of the house combine beautifully with the steeply pitched roofs with dormers on both sides. Both door entries at the front and the rear are graced with an arched header, and once inside, the hearth room and the screened porch have vaulted ceilings with exposed wood timbers. All of the rooms on the main level are vaulted – even the screened porch off the dramatic hearth room!
