A House With Two Wings

Architect: William J. Addison, AIA
Addison Rainey Architects

Total Sq. Ft.: 2086  Bedrooms: 3  Baths: 2.5

This unique home splits into two separate wings at the diagonal entry, with all the common living spaces to the right, and the bedrooms to the left. Multiple rooflines, exposed roof details, and multi–paned windows combine beautifully with the rest of the house's understated appearance. A deck runs along the entire rear of the house, and a screened porch also in the rear is accessed by both the kitchen and the great room.

Dune's Light

Architect: Ed Kriskywicz
Construction Design

Total Sq. Ft.: 2190  Bedrooms: 2  Baths: 2.0

To fit the slope of the lot, this house was designed for an entry that's set at the midpoint between the main and lower levels. After going up a short flight of stairs from the foyer you enter an open living area that includes the kitchen, dining space, and a great room. The ceiling in both the dining and living rooms are set at a dramatic 17', and the walls that wrap around the great room and the kitchen are filled with tall windows topped by additional windows near the ceiling. All three spaces enjoy a large corner fireplace, and a glass door here opens to a large open deck.

Snowmass Lodge

Architect: Ed Kriskywicz
Construction Design

Total Sq. Ft.: 2320  Bedrooms: 2  Baths: 2.5

Cultured stone is used throughout the exterior of this house, and contrasts nicely with the wood siding. Large stone pillars frame the covered entry, and ties in nicely with the prominent stone chimney that rises from the rear. The living spaces are set at a 45–degree angle to the bedroom suites. This means the great room has a corner facing the rear, which is filled by a large stone fireplace. The walls on either side rise to two stories, and are filled with windows on each level. There's a screened porch off the kitchen and dining room at the rear, next to a deck that wraps around the great room and ends at the master bedroom.

Summit Views 3

Architect: Jon Rentfrow
Rentfrow Residential Design

Total Sq. Ft.: 3664  Bedrooms: 3  Baths: 2.5

This third version of Summit Views retains the stunning looks and luxurious feel of the original, inside and out. Same gorgeous detailing and finishes; same unique lines and shape. Like version 2, the formal dining room has been removed, with the hearth room taking its place for dining. And the upper floor is nearly identical to the original. But the lower level has a completely different layout. It's also the smallest of the three, and hence the least expensive to build, coming in at a total of just 3,664 sf for the main and upper levels.
